Abstract
A mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, comprising: a reducer output shaft (1), an external splined sleeve (3), an internal splined flange (4), a bearing (5), an output flange (6), a retaining ring (9), a lever device (10), and a machine frame (11). The internal splined flange is mounted on the reducer output shaft via the bearing. The bearing achieves axial positioning by means of a shaft shoulder of the reducer output shaft and the retaining ring. The output flange is fixed to the internal splined flange. The output flange comprises a power output member for outputting power to a hose reel. The external splined sleeve is mounted on the reducer output shaft. The lever device is mounted on the machine frame. By means of rotating a handle of the lever device, a lever is made to move the external splined sleeve to the left or right on the reducer output shaft, thereby achieving engagement and disengagement of the clutch. The mechanical clutch of the sprinkler irrigation machine can realize separation of the hose reel and a transmission system during hose rewinding, ensuring a smooth hose rewinding process.
Description
MECHANICAL CLUTCH OF HOSE REEL SPRINKLER IRRIGATION
MACHINE AND METHOD OF USING THEREOF
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a clutch, and in particular, to a mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine and method of using thereof.
Description of Related Art
A hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine is irrigation equipment in which a PE hose is wound around a hose reel, power is supplied by a water turbine, motor, or another power source, the hose reel is driven to rotate by a speed variator such that the PE hose is wound back onto the reel, and a sprinkler is drawn to automatically move and spray water. Before sprinkling and irrigation, the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine needs to use a tractor to draw the sprinkler, to completely pull out the PE hose wound around the hose reel, which is called a hose rewinding process. Before hose rewinding, a clutch needs to disengage to separate a high-speed stage from a low-speed stage of a transmission system. In this way, the whole transmission system is avoided from reverse transmission in the hose rewinding process, and thus is avoided from unnecessary loss caused by an extra load in the hose rewinding process. Moreover, hose rewinding failure caused by the use of a member with a reverse self-locking function such as a worm gear reducer in the transmission system is further avoided. A transmission system of a conventional hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine driven by a water turbine mainly includes a belt drive, a gearbox, and a chain drive from the high-speed stage to the low-speed stage, and a clutch thereof is arranged on the high-speed stage in the gearbox. However, such a gearbox needs to be customized, has a complicated structure and high transmission ratio, and is inapplicable to a novel electrically-driven hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine. In addition, in consideration of actual needs and the use of the worm gear reducer, the clutch is suitably arranged on the low-speed stage, namely, between the chain drive i
and an output end of the reducer.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Technical Problem
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome the defect in the prior art, and provide a mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine and a method of using thereof, which can realize the clutch function in a low-speed stage of a transmission system of the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine.
Technical Solution
To solve the foregoing technical problem, the mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine of the present invention comprises a reducer output shaft, an internal splined flange, a bearing, an output flange, an external splined sleeve, a shifter lever device, and a machine frame, wherein the internal splined flange is fixed on a shaft section II of the reducer output shaft via the bearing; the output flange is fixed to the internal splined flange, and is provided with a power output member for outputting power to a hose reel; a groove is formed after connection of the internal splined flange and the output flange, and an outer ring of the bearing is fixed by shoulders on the two sides of the groove, to prevent the bearing from any play in the internal splined flange; and a retaining ring is fixed on a shaft end of the reducer output shaft, and an inner ring of the bearing is fixed by cooperation of the retaining ring and a shaft shoulder of the reducer output shaft.
The external splined sleeve is mounted on a shaft section I of the reducer output shaft, a recess is provided on the external splined sleeve, and an external spline is provided on the right side, not the left side of the recess; the external spline of the external splined sleeve mates with an internal spline of the internal splined flange; the shifter lever device includes a lever and a handle; the machine frame is fixed to the sprinkler irrigation machine; the handle passes through the machine frame, the bottom end of the handle is fixedly connected to the lever, and the lever rotates about the axis of the handle; the lever is inserted into the recess of the external splined sleeve.
During rotation of the handle, the lever moves the external splined sleeve to the left or right, thereby achieving engagement and disengagement of the clutch.
As an improvement, the power output member of the output flange is a sprocket or gear.
As an improvement, the bearing is a deep groove ball bearing.
The present invention further provides an application method of the mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, which includes the following steps:
(a) before hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, rotating the handle of the lever device counterclockwise, such that the lever moves the external splined sleeve to the left, and the external spline of the external splined sleeve is separated from the internal spline of the internal splined flange, to achieve disengagement of the mechanical clutch;
(b) the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine performing hose rewinding;
(c) after completion of hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, rotating the handle of the lever device clockwise, such that the lever moves the external splined sleeve to the right, and the external spline of the external splined sleeve meshes with the internal spline of the internal splined flange, to achieve engagement of the mechanical clutch; and (d) the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine winding a PE hose back onto a hose reel and performing irrigation.
Advantageous Effect
The present invention achieves the following advantageous effects: (1) The present invention can realize the clutch function in a low-speed stage of a transmission system of the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, thereby ensuring a smooth hose rewinding process of the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine. (2) In the present invention, a clutch is arranged in the low-speed stage outside a gearbox. Thus, a high-speed stage of the transmission system is separated from the low-speed stage as far as possible in the hose rewinding process, and an extra load caused by the transmission system is reduced. (3) Because the clutch and the gearbox are separated in the present invention, a selection range of the gearbox is greatly extended. A finished reducer can be directly selected and purchased, and it is not required to customize the gearbox. (4) The present invention has a simple structure and high reliability.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, a mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine of the present invention includes: a reducer output shaft 1, an internal splined flange 4, a bearing 5, an output flange 6, an external splined sleeve 3, a retaining ring 9, a shifter lever device 10, and a machine frame 11. The internal splined flange 4 is mounted on a shaft section II 13 of the reducer output shaft 1 via the bearing 5. The bearing 5 is a deep groove ball bearing. The output flange 6 is fixed to the internal splined flange 4 via a screw A7, and is provided with a power output member, which is a sprocket or gear, used for outputting power to a hose reel. A groove is formed after connection of the internal splined flange 4 and the output flange 6. An outer ring of the bearing 5 can be fixed by shoulders on the two sides of the groove, to prevent the bearing 5 from any play in the internal splined flange 4. The retaining ring 9 is fixed on a shaft end of the reducer output shaft 1 via a screw B8. The bearing 5 achieves axial positioning by means of a shaft shoulder of the reducer output shaft 1 and the retaining ring 9.
The external splined sleeve 3 is mounted on a shaft section I 12 of the reducer output shaft 1 via a guide flat key 2. A recess is provided in the middle of the external splined sleeve 3. An external spline is provided on the right side, not the left side of the recess. The external spline of the external splined sleeve 3 mates with an internal spline of the internal splined flange 4.
The shifter lever device 10 includes a lever 14 and a handle 15. The machine frame 11 is fixed to the sprinkler irrigation machine. The handle 15 passes through the machine frame 11, the bottom end of the handle 15 is fixedly connected to the lever 14, and the lever 14 rotates about the axis of the handle 15. The lever 14 is inserted into the recess of the external splined sleeve 3. During rotation, the lever 14 moves the external splined sleeve 3 to the left or right, thereby achieving engagement and disengagement of the clutch.
The present invention further provides an application method of the mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, which includes the following steps:
(a) Before hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, the handle 15 of the lever device 10 is rotated counterclockwise, such that the lever 14 moves the external splined sleeve 3 to the left. Thus, the external spline of the external splined sleeve 3 is separated from the internal spline of the internal splined flange 4, to achieve disengagement of the mechanical clutch.
(b) The hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine performs hose rewinding.
(c) After completion of hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, the handle 15 of the lever device 10 is rotated clockwise, such that the lever 14 moves the external splined sleeve 3 to the right. Thus, the external spline of the external splined sleeve 3 meshes with the internal spline of the internal splined flange 4, to achieve engagement of the mechanical clutch.
(d) The hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine winds a PE hose back onto a hose reel and performs irrigation.
The above merely describes a preferred embodiment of the present invention. It 10 should be noted that, several improvements may be made by those of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the principle of the present invention, and these improvements should also be considered within the protection scope of the present invention.
Claims (4)
- What is claimed is:1. A mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, comprising: a reducer output shaft (1), an internal splined flange (4), a bearing (5), an output flange (6), an external splined sleeve (3), a shifter lever device (10), and a machine frame (11), wherein the internal splined flange (4) is fixed on a shaft section II (13) of the reducer output shaft (1) via the bearing (5); the output flange (6) is fixed to the internal splined flange (4), and is provided with a power output member; a groove is formed after connection of the internal splined flange (4) and the output flange (6), and an outer ring of the bearing (5) is fixed by shoulders on two sides of the groove; and a retaining ring (9) is fixed on a shaft end of the reducer output shaft (1), and an inner ring of the bearing (5) is fixed by cooperation of the retaining ring (9) and a shaft shoulder of the reducer output shaft (1); and the external splined sleeve (3) is mounted on a shaft section I (12) of the reducer output shaft (1), a recess is provided on the external splined sleeve (3), an external spline is provided on right side of the recess, and the external spline of the external splined sleeve (3) mates with an internal spline of the internal splined flange (4); the shifter lever device (10) comprises a lever (14) and a handle (15); the machine frame (11) is fixed to the sprinkler irrigation machine; the handle (15) passes through the machine frame (11), a bottom end of the handle (15) is fixedly connected to the lever (14), and the lever (14) rotates about the axis of the handle (15); and the lever (14) is inserted into the recess of the external splined sleeve (3).
- 2. The mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine according to claim 1, wherein the power output member of the output flange (6) is a sprocket or gear.
- 3. The mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine according to claim 2, wherein the bearing (5) is a deep groove ball bearing.
- 4. A method of using the mechanical clutch of a hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine of any one of claims 1 to 3, comprising the following steps:(a) before hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, rotating the handle (15) of the lever device (10) counterclockwise, such that the lever (14) moves the external splined sleeve (3) to the left, and the external spline of the external splined sleeve (3) is separated from the internal spline of the internal splined flange (4), to achieve disengagement of the mechanical clutch;(b) the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine performing hose rewinding;(c) after completion of hose rewinding by the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine, rotating the handle (15) of the lever device (10) clockwise, such that the lever (14) moves the external splined sleeve (3) to the right, and the external spline of the external splined sleeve (3) meshes with the internal spline of the internal splined flange (4), to achieve engagement of the mechanical clutch; and (d) the hose reel sprinkler irrigation machine winding a PE hose back onto a hose reel and performing irrigation.
