Abstract

Device for putting piece-goods (22) into store and taking them out of store in a high shelf installation (1) which consists of two shelf systems (2, 3) arranged at a distance from one another and a feed and/or discharge conveyor unit (13, 14). Arranged between the two shelf systems (2, 3) is a shelf lift (6) which can move a load-lifting member (10) horizontally and vertically into the area of any shelf compartment (11, 12). The load-lifting member (10) rests on a frame (17), over the entire width of which a transverse conveyor (18) is mounted. A gripping device (23) lying above the transport plane of the transverse conveyor (18) interacts with the latter, which gripping device (23) can on the one hand be moved a certain extent beyond the longitudinal sides of the frame (17) and its gripping elements (24, 25) can on the other hand be moved at right angles to the transport plane of the transverse conveyor (18) by an actuator.
