Process for the production of plastic objects from paper mache.

The subject of the invention is a process for the production of plastic objects from paper maclé, which consists in that very dilute paper pulp is dewatered by means of flat, spoon-shaped sieves and the mass remaining in the sieves in extremely thin layers is repeatedly applied to the working form.

The repeated application of these thin paper pulp layers in the working form avoids all errors that occur on the surface of the papermaking objects according to previous methods; Because the fact that the raw paper leaves, which are produced by the sieves, are applied directly to the mold in a wet, weakly cohesive state, makes folding them impossible and, due to the union of the half-finished paper sheets, the size and shape of the sieve spoon are combined accordingly arise, finally a coherent cardboard-like mass is formed, which reproduces the contours of the shape sharply.

If the entire working form is covered with a thin layer in the manner described, then the known method is used at best.

The present method also has the further advantage that it does not require any particular technical skill on the part of the worker and does not have to be checked by the eye, so that it can e.g. B. can be easily performed by the blind.

The diluted paper pulp can also be colored and with various additions, such as. B. animal hair can be used, whereby the most diverse effects can be caused.
