   Bei den bisher bekannten Theaterdekorationen mit lichtdurchlässigen Rändern musste zur Versteifung derselben eine feste Randkontur aus Holz, starkem Draht oder dergleichen hergestellt werden, durch welche das dünne, transparente Material, das zur Bildung des durchsichtigen Randes benutzt wurde, in seiner Lage festgehalten wurde. Dies hat den Nachteil, dass gerade der äusserste Rand infolge des Versteifungsmaterials nicht lichtdurchlässig ist und zudem die Herstellung von feinen, vielfach gewundenen Randkonturen ausserordentlich erschwert wird.

   Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung vermeidet diese   dübel-   stände durch Verwendung eines an sich steifen aber transparenten Materials, wie mit vegetabilischen oder tierischen Stoffen überzogene Drahtgaze, für die Dekoration, sodass alloin durch Verminderung der für die übrige Dekoration zur Erreichung   genügender   Steifigkeit und Undurchsichtigkeit notwendigen Anzahl von   ühereinandergektebten   Schichten dieses Materials die   Rilnderkonturen   mehr oder minder   lichtdurchliissig erscheinen und mit   Leichtigkeit in beliehiger Feinheit ausgeschnitten werden können.
