Salzlecke für Tiere.
Es ist bereits eine sogenannte Salzleeke für Tiere bekannt, bei der ein kegeliger od. dgl. förmiger Salzblock an einer hölzernen Grundplatte durch einen an ihr abnehmbar befestigten und den kegeligen Blockfuss vollsitzend ummantelnden Metall-od. dgl. Widerlagerrahmen gehalten ist, wobei auch letzterer aus rostfreiem Material hergestellt sein kann.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Salzlecke dieser Art und'besteht darin, dass der den Salzblock auf der Grundplatte haltende Widerlagerrahmen aus einer ausgenommenen Deckplatte mit gemäss dem Blockfuss unterschnittener Ausnehmungsrandfläche besteht.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 und 2 einen Grundriss bzw. Querschnitt.
Der Lecksteinrahmen besteht im Wesen aus einer Grundplatte 1, auf welche der kugelkalottenförmig ausgebildete Salzblock (eckstein) 2 aufgelegt wird, sowie aus einer aufzusetzenden Deckplatte 3, die in der Mitte ausgenommen ist, wobei die inneren Begrenzungsflächen der Ausnehmung der Oberfläche einer Kugelzone genau oder annähernd entsprechen. Sowohl die untere als auch die obere Platte sind vorzugsweise mit rostfreien Ösen 5 auf allen vier Seiten versehen, welche zur Verbindung der beiden Platten 1, 3 dienen.
Die Platten 1, 3 sind vorzugsweise aus Erlenholz und glatt gehobelt hergestellt. Die flache, kalotten-od. dgl. förmige Oberfläche des Lecksteines und die flache Deck-bzw. Widerlagerplatte bilden keinerlei eckige Vorsprünge und damit hiedurch auch keine Möglichkeit des Abbeissens einzelner Stücke des Lecksteines. Das Unterbrett 1 wird vorteilhaft an den Futterständern und Gittern mit Spagat, einem rostfreien Draht od. dgl. befestigt, so dass die ganze Salzlecke vollkommen rostfrei bleibt. Zudem ist ihre Herstellung und Handhabung ausserordentlich einfach.
