Hollow stone made of two U-shaped shaped stones for reinforced concrete ceilings.
The use of hollow bricks, which consist of two U-shaped shaped bricks, in the manufacture of reinforced concrete ceilings is already known. According to the invention, in hollow blocks of this type, for the purpose of better power transmission, bars made of concrete, wood or iron are arranged between the ribs projecting on the upper shaped block and the lower shaped block at the construction site.
The drawing shows a reinforced concrete ceiling with hollow stones according to the invention.
The two-part U-shaped hollow body is flat on the visible upper and lower surface and has support ribs d on its upper horizontal inner side, of which rods e inclined to the right and left are arranged to the corners of the lower hollow body.
The two rods e are prismatic detachable bodies which, as struts of a truss, transfer the upper load to the concrete beams. The gaps for the concrete beams are created by lining up the hollow bodies. The lower two side surfaces have inclined recesses g (Fig. 1 and 3), for the purpose of obtaining better adhesion between concrete and stone. A wide variety of known materials can be used to manufacture and reinforce the hollow stone.
