Sclmeeschuhbindung.
Gegenstand oer Erfindung ist eine Bindung für Schneeschuhe, deren kennzeichnendes Merkmal im wesentlichen darin besteht, dass an einer mit Klemmbacken versehenen, kurzen Sohlenplatte aus starrem Material, die in bekannter Weise durch ein Federgelenk mit dem Schneeschuh drehbar verbunden ist, eine Sohle aus elastischem Material (Balatagewebe usw.) befestigt ist, die an ihrem Ende einen Steg trägt, an der der Absatzriemen befestigt ist, der in bekannter Weise mittels eines Strammer um den Absatz festgelegt werden kann.
Ein weiteres kennzeichnendes Merkmal der Erfindung besteht darin, dass an der kurzen Sohlenplatte aus starrem Material zwei Paar Backen befestigt sind, die gegeneinander verstellbar sind, so dass sie sich der Breite und Form jeder Sohle anpassen lassen.
Durch diese Kombination der starren an dem Schneeschuh durch Federgelenk drehbar angebrachten kurzen Sohlenplatte, welche die zwei Paar Backen aufweist, und der elastischen Sohlenplatte mit dem durch den Strammer anzuspannenden Absatzriemen wird eine Bindung geschaffen, in der der Fuss einen durchaus festen Sitz und daher vollkommene Herrschaft über den Schneeschuh hat, bei welcher die Stiefelsohle nicht mehr durch die Auf-und Abbewegung des Fusses beim Laufen schadhaft wird und die ein schnelles und leichtes An-und Abschnallen ermöglicht, was bei gefährlichen StÜrzen von grösster Wichtigkeit ist, denn durch diese eigenartige Kombination kann der sonst bei derartigen Bindungen erforderliche Riemen über dem Fussrücken in Wegfall kommen und trotzdem ein sicherer Sitz der Bindung an dem Fuss erzielt werden.
Dadurch dass die Sohlenplatte mit zwei Paar Backen ausgerüstet ist, von denen jede unabhängig von der anderen verstellt werden kann, lässt sich ein und dieselbe Bindung den Schuhen für Kinder und Erwachsene, für Damen und Herren gleich gut anpassen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt die neue Bindung in Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht und in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht mit abgenommenen Zehenriemen.
