Schneeschuhbindung.

Snowshoe binding.
The subject of the present invention is sine snow shoe binding, in which the shoe is held on the board by means of swingable pressure levers attached to side supports, the short legs of which are pressed onto the edge of the sole with the help of clamping devices acting on the long legs.
Some embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing, namely Fig. 1 shows an embodiment in section, Fig. 2 shows another embodiment in side view, Fig. 3 shows a front view of the binding according to FIG. 2, the snowshoe being cut slightly in front of the binding and Fig. 4 is a section of a further embodiment.
The snowshoe is designated with A and the sole with B in all figures.
According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the clamping members are formed by pressure levers that can swing around longitudinal pins D of the fixed side supports E, the short legs F of which are pressed onto the edge of the sole when the long, upwardly stretched legs C are pressed by means of the belt G or a similar device Clamping device are pulled against each other.
In order to avoid any movement of the sole, a footplate with short tips is provided between the side supports E. This plate can also be formed by the connecting piece of the supports E.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the pressure levers C, F can swing about transverse pins D, that is to say in the longitudinal plane of the ski. The long legs C extend forward and are united to form a bow which can be pulled down through the tension strap C to tighten the binding.
In the embodiments according to FIG. 4, the side supports are movable and, in addition to the lateral pressure on the sole, also cause a downward pressure which presses the sole onto the ski. The movable side supports are formed by one-armed levers C which can be pivoted in a plane perpendicular to the snowshoe. The same are provided with inwardly directed noses F which grip over the sole edge and press it downwards when the arms C 'are pulled against one another by means of the tensioning strap G and at the same time effect the lateral support of the sole.
The pivot D of the lifting! C 'can expediently be formed by the short sides of a steel wire bracket which is fastened in the belt hole of the ScbneescLuhea.
The levers C can be attached to the pins D in an easily removable manner.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. snow-binding, characterized by swingable pressure levers attached to side supports, the short snails (F) of which are pressed onto the edge of the sole with the help of clamping devices (G) acting on the long legs (C).
