Narrow board for the production of bar panels.
Narrow boards for the production of bar panels, which have an overlap on one longitudinal edge to cover the connection point of the narrow boards with one another, are known. So far, these overlaps were now arranged so that they were flush with the surface of the narrow boards or even lower than the surface of the boards, reaching over recessed parts of the adjacent narrow boards.
This creates longitudinal grooves at the connection points of the boards when the paneling is finished, which is particularly noticeable on the skirting boards and end strips placed across the boarding, in that the grooves behind the strips formed cavities that remained accessible to the cleaning water, dust, etc. caused the wood to rot and became nests for vermin. The object of the present invention aims to remedy this drawback by designing the flap as part of a profile. which protrudes over the surface of the board, so that it can be planed onto the surface of the narrow boards where the skirting and end strips of the paneling are to be placed.
This enables a smooth, gutter-free sitting on the paneling.
The object of the invention is shown in one embodiment by the drawing, u. Between: Fig. 1 shows several narrow boards joined together to form a bar panel in a front view, Fig. 2 shows a cross section to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 shows a section along the line A-B of Fig. 2 after the profile has been planed off and a baseboard has been placed.
1 are visual boards, which by some connection, e.g. B. tongue and groove 2, are interconnected. The connection point is covered by a forward flap running on one long side of each narrow board. This overlap 4 is part of a profile 6 which is higher than the surface 7 of the narrow board, so that x is greater than y. Should now be a cross bar at the bottom or top, z. B. a skirting board 5, are arranged, so there is the above profiling, as shown in Fig. 3, planed to the same height as the surface 7 of the narrow board.
As a result, the baseboard 5 can now be placed smoothly on the surface 7 of the narrow board, the profiling 6 standing on top of the baseboard 5, as shown in FIG. 3. So there is no gap and no channel between 5 and 1, while this was previously the case when a negative profile 6 was arranged, so to speak, which was below the surface 7 and with its channels extended behind the baseboard 5 on the floor.
