Bubble for continuous tar distillation.
The invention relates to a bubble for continuous tar distillation in the form of an externally heated, lying one. with a drum located inside and driven from the outside. In the previously known stills of this type, the scoops do not touch the drum jacket in the steam space and are not
EMI1.1
The present invention differs from these known arrangements in that the scoop consists of rotatable scoops which are pressed against the drum shell in such a way that when the scoops are rotated; Werkwelle take the tar from the bottom of the drum and use it to coat the entire heated inner surface of the drum shell in the area of the steam space, each subsequent scoop removing the paint and replacing it with a new one.
In the drawing, the device is illustrated by way of example, namely FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the externally heated lying drum.
The horizontal drum forming the still is equipped with a bucket that is driven from a transmission by means of a not shown in the drawing

passes through the end walls of the drum in stuffing boxes 19. The shaft carries four sheet metal disks 20 including rods 21 inside the drum and rotates in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2.
A total of twelve scoops 22 are rotatably seated on the rods 21 and are pressed against the drum shell by springs 23. Each scoop takes tar from the bottom of the drum and uses it to coat the drum wall in the area of the steam room. The subsequent creator removes the paint and replaces it with a new one. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the scoopers work over the entire outer surface of the drum exposed to the fire gases.
