Vorliegende Erfindung gründet sich auf die bekannte Erscheinung, dass der grösste Unter- druck an einem zu einer Flüssigkeit oder einem Gas relativ bewegten Rotationskörper gleich hinter der Ablösungsstelle der Stromlinien auftrifft. Der Gegenstand der Erfindung besteht in einer Anordnung zur konzentrischen Unterdruckentnahme auf der der Strömung zugekehrten vorderen Hälfte eines kugel-oder eiförmigen Rotationskörpers, an dessen vorderster Stelle die Überdruckentnahme wie üblich stattfindet. Die Lage der Unterdruck-stelle richtet sich bei der neuen Düse nach der Dicke des nach hinten führenden Halters der Düse. auch ist davon die Grösse des erzielbaren Unterdruckes und damit die Genauigkeit der Messung abhängig.
Die Düse wird in bekannter Weise mit einem Manometer verbunden, welches die Druckunterschiede ablesbar macht. Die günstigste Lage der Unterdruckentnahme wird durch Versuche festgelegt.
Die Erfindung soll dazu dienen, um möglichst genaue Geschwindigkeitsmessungen un- abhängig vom statischen Druck an einer möglichst eng begrenzten Stelle unter möglichst geringer Störung benachbarter Stromfäden auszuführen.

The present invention is based on the known phenomenon that the greatest negative pressure occurs on a rotating body that is moved relative to a liquid or a gas immediately behind the separation point of the streamlines. The subject matter of the invention consists in an arrangement for concentric extraction of negative pressure on the front half of a spherical or egg-shaped rotating body facing the flow, at the front of which the positive pressure extraction takes place as usual. The position of the vacuum point on the new nozzle depends on the thickness of the nozzle holder that leads to the rear. The size of the attainable negative pressure and thus the accuracy of the measurement also depend on it.
The nozzle is connected in a known manner to a manometer, which makes the pressure differences readable. The most favorable position for the vacuum extraction is determined through tests.
The aim of the invention is to enable the speed measurements to be carried out as precisely as possible, independently of the static pressure, at a point that is as narrowly defined as possible with as little disruption as possible to adjacent streamlines.
