Establish operations. The device consists of a dye drum rotatably arranged on one side of the linoleum or other web of fabric, which is divided into individual radial chambers containing the various dyes by partition walls arranged according to the color pattern to be produced.

Suction of the dye in question from the chamber according to known processes sucked off and through the fabric or, instead of by suction, pressed through the fabric web by air, gas, water or similar pressure acting from the inside of the drum. In this way, all the chambers of the drum successively release their dyes to the web of material and thereby produce the desired color pattern in it. without interrupting operations.
Up to now, one only had flat shapes for this purpose, which had to be removed again after each color sample had been produced and placed again at the next point to be sample, with which therefore no continuous operation was possible.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment of this device in vertical section.
The drum k is rotatably arranged over the linoleum or other fabric web a guided along a table i. A suction opening m is made in the table, to which a suction line f is connected. The radial dye chambers o of the drum k, which are formed by dividing walls arranged according to the pattern, are closed to the outside so that the dye does not fall out of the same when the chambers come down as the drum rotates; however, each chamber in this outer closing wall has one or more outwardly opening check valves d of any type. It now becomes that dye chamber

To close the dye chambers to the outside, instead of check valves, z. B. Fitx or other suitable permeable material can be used, which

Except for linoleum, the device can also be used in other tabrications, e.g. B. for the production of different colored patterned. artificial stones, tiles, paper, carpets, cork tiles or the like.
