Durch die Saugwirkung kann gleichzeitig auch die weitere Farbstoffzufuhr in die Kammern der Trommel bewirkt werden. Anstatt durch Saugen kann, wie bereits erwähnt, auch durch Drücken die Einführung oder Durchführung der Farbstoffe durch die Stoffe erfolgen, und zwar kann dieses Drücken sowohl durch Luft-, Gas- oder Flüssigkeitsdruck (wobei gleichzeitig eine Behandlung der Farbstoffe durch das Gas oder die Flüssigkeit stattfinden kann, z.
