    Geruchverschluss   für Kanäle u. dgl. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Geruchverschluss für Kanäle u. dgl, bei welchem die Mündung der Schale bis zu einer in diese ragende Scheidewand mit einem Tragflansch versehen und die Wand selbst schräg nach aussen als Kanalabschlusswand verlängert ist. 



   In der Zeichnung ist der Verschluss gemäss der Erfindung in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform in Fig. i schaubildlich, in Fig. 2 im Querschnitt veranschaulicht. 



   Der Geruchverschluss besteht aus einer offenen Schale a, deren obere Öffnung durch eine Wand b in die Aufnahmekammer c und Entleerungskammer d geteilt   ist ;   Die Wand b setzt sich nach aussen schräg nach oben   gerichtet-als'Kanalabschlusswand e fort,   während der Rand der Aufnahmekammer c einen   Flansch f besitzt,   mittels welches sich der Verschluss im Kanal abstützt. Durch diese Ausgestaltung erhält der Verschluss eine wesentliche Gewichtsverminderung gegenüber den bisher bekannten Einrichtungen, ebenso wie durch die elliptische Ausbildung des für die Wasseraufnahme in Betracht kommenden Raumquerschnittes das Wasser in der Schale nicht so leicht gefrieren und austrocknen kann.

   Der   Abfluss   des Wassers geht hindernislos vor sich und die Höhe des Verschlusses ist wesentlich geringer als bei jeder anderen Vorrichtung.

   The invention relates to an odor trap for channels u. The like, in which the mouth of the shell is provided with a support flange up to a partition wall projecting into it and the wall itself is extended obliquely outwards as a channel end wall.



   In the drawing, the closure according to the invention is illustrated diagrammatically in an exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1 and in cross section in FIG. 2.



   The odor trap consists of an open shell a, the upper opening of which is divided by a wall b into the receiving chamber c and the emptying chamber d; The wall b continues outwards, directed obliquely upward - as a channel end wall e, while the edge of the receiving chamber c has a flange f by means of which the closure is supported in the channel. This configuration gives the closure a significant weight reduction compared to the previously known devices, as well as the elliptical design of the space cross-section that is considered for water absorption, the water in the bowl cannot freeze and dry out so easily.

   The drainage of the water is unobstructed and the height of the closure is significantly lower than with any other device.
