if necessary, is used so as to form block B. These !' Bto c is again cut across, with the new layers lying on top of one another in a mosaic. After they are placed on a mat. they are again made very thin (e.g. by grinding) until they correspond in thickness to the dotted line (Fig. 4).

Sectors, as shown in Fig. 5, can also be made to make film for use in nematographs, and these sectors can be combined into circular blocks, each sector consisting of substantially parallel strips which are approximately parallel to the radius. This block is made into the strip by a knife k. f cut out.

Since the strips are all three-colored according to FIG. 2 and have been pressed together without a pattern, the cylinder surface and thus also the peeled film shows a point grid with countless jumbled points in the three colors in contrast to films that are peeled off from a cylindrical block , which is pressed together from thin parallel layers in a regular sequence and whose base is parallel to the layering, so that the film forms a grid of stripes.

The cut strip is placed on a base and then, similar to before, brought to the required thinness by grinding or the like. Then of course the photographic emulsion has to be applied.

As can be seen from FIG. 6, the representation can also take place in such a way that the film e, which is already multicolored but contains longitudinal stripes, is curled back and forth by an R! ng to form. This film is z. B. formed by rotating a cylinder from the block (Fig. 3) and peeling it off.

When this back and forth wavy film is compressed, the thickness of the ring B at h than at g is greater because of the additional material. The so compressed ring as shown in Fig. 7; is now treated with the veneer knife as before.
