Description

Process for white or colored reservation of goods to be colored with chrome paints with the addition of a chrome stain.

When using reducing agents to etch textile goods dyed with gallocyanines, leukogallocyanines, gallocyanin bisulfite compounds or similar chrome colors in dark tones, it is not possible to produce pure white areas. If, on the other hand, a mass containing these reducing agents and sodium citrate is printed as a reserve on the textile goods and, after the reserve has dried, one of the mentioned dyes with chrome stain is flattened or printed on the latter, the colors in the areas printed with reserve cannot develop, so that after a short time Steaming and subsequent washing, perfect white spots are obtained. Similar results can be obtained using this method on alizarin blue and cerulein bisulfite compounds.

When preparing the reserve, it is advisable to add a certain amount of B) andota (a vegetable gelatine from Blandola Comp. Ltd. in Whaley Bridge near Stockport, Lancashire) to it, since it is the thickened gallocyanin and leukogallocyanin solutions due to its property To coagulate in the presence of chrome stains, the achievement of pure white spots favors.

ammonium sulfonic acid alkali, lets cool and adds 75th, sodium citrate.

After the fabric has been printed with this reserve, it is dried and a gallocyanine dye with a chrome stain is applied to it. After steaming for a few minutes in the Mather-Platt, washing takes place and the goods are finished in the usual way.

Instead of printing the fabric with the described reducing white reserve, it can be printed with a colored reserve. Such a multicolored servo can e.g. B. be prepared in such a way that you dissolve 60 parts of Irisamine Ci- (Cassella) in 170 - alcohol and 50 # aniline cold and the solution thus obtained with
