Knie-und Bauchschützer für Reiter.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen am Sattel lösbar befestigten Knie-und Bauchschützer für Reiter und besteht darin, dass der Knie-und Bauchschützer durch eine scbabraken- artige Decke mit zwei Ausschnitten gebildet wird, deren kleinerer vorderer dem Sattelknopf, deren grösserer rückwärtiger aber dem Rumpfe des Reiters entspricht. Durch' letzteren Ausschnitt werden Lappen gebildet, die um den Leib des Reiters herumgelegt und hinter dessen Röcken lösbar miteinander verbunden werden.
Diese Schutzvorrichtung besitzt bekannten, aus zwei durch einen Riemen zusammengehaltenen Lappen bestehenden Vorrichtungen gegenüber den Vorteil, dass sie nicht nur die Knie und Schenkel, sondern auch den Bauch warm und trocken hält. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass der ganze Schützer aus einem Stück Stoff besteht-und wie oben erwähnt-schabrakenartig ausgebildet ist.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes.
Der in Form einer schabrakenartigen Decke ausgeführte Knie-und Bauchschützer kann ans einem beliebigen warmen Stoffe erzeugt werden. Zweckmässig wird derselbe an der einen Seite a aus einem wasserdichten Stoffe, z. B. aus einem imprägnierten Gewebe, und an der anderen Seite b aus einem beliebigen warmen Stoffe, z. B. Tuch, Filz usw., hergestellt. Das Ganze ist mit einem starken Besatz f ausgerüstet. Die Schutzvorrichtung ist vorne mit einem der Form des Sattelknopfes entsprechenden, halbkreisförmig abgerundeten Ausschnitt (7 versehen und kann mittels der bei diesem Ausschnitt sowie in der Nachbarschaft desselben angeordneten Befestigungsorgane, z.
B. mittels der Knopflöcher e, f in der Mitte am Sattelknopf und seitlich an den Seitenteilen des Sattels be- festigt, z. B. auf die daselbst angebrachten Knöpfe geknöpft werden-Der dem Ausschnitte d gegenüber angeordnete, ebenfalls geschweifte grössere Ausschnitt g entspricht bezüglich seiner Grösse dem Leib des im Sattel sitzenden Reiters. Dem Ausschnitte 9 schliessen sich beiderseits Lappen h, A an, die mittels der Laschen i, t am Rücken des Reiters lösbar verbunden werden können.

The invention relates to a knee and stomach protector for riders that is detachably attached to the saddle and consists in that the knee and stomach protector is formed by a scbabraken-like blanket with two cutouts, the smaller one at the front being the saddle button, the larger one at the back being the rider's trunk corresponds.
