Eine Weste gemäss der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Fig. 1 ist die Rückenansicht der Weste, Fig. 2 ein lotrechter Längsschnitt.
Die mit den Armausschnitt a versehenen beiden Vorderteile b der Weste sind mittels eines Schulterblattes c und eines Kreuzblattes d verbunden und durch die an ihnen befestigten, mit der Schliesse e versehenen Taillenbänder f gegeneinander zu verstellen.
Statt des Westenrückens wird je ein paar wagerecht und lotrecht verlaufender Bänder 9 und h angebracht, die an ihren Kreuzungsstellen beispielsweise durch Vernähen verbunden sind. Durch solche bandförmige Verbindungsglieder wird einerseits der Vorteil erzielt, dass der Rücken des Trägers der Weste fast ganz frei liegt und daher der Aussenluft ausgesetzt ist, während andererseits die Bänder sich durch Änderung ihrer Befestigung nach der Körperform einstellen lassen, um einen guten Sitz der Weste zu ermöglichen.
