Verfahren zur Darstellung von Beizenfarbstoffen.
Aus den deutschen Patentschriften Nr. 146265 und 147530 ist bekannt, dass sich 4-Acidylaminophenol und seine Substitutionsprodukte mit freier 2-Stellung mit Diazoverbindungen kombinieren lassen. Es werden dort Kombinationen mit Diazonaphtalinsulfosäuren beschrieben, deren nachchromiertp Färbungen grau sind.
Wie nun gefunden wurde, entstehen durch Kombination von 4-Acidylaminophenol und seinen Substitutionsprodukten mit diazotierter Pikramiasäure wertvolle Beizenfarbstoffe, deren Färbungen sich durch hervorragende Wasch-, Walk-, Potting-und Lichtechtheit auszeichnen und hierin die obengenannten Farbstoffe erheblich übertreffen. Die Nuancen der Chromlacke sind in der Regel olive, in einzelnen Fällen braun. Vor den Farbstoffen der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 252915 aus Pikraminsäure und 4-Acidyl- amino-l-naphtolen, die ihrer ungenügenden Löslichkeit wegen keinen Eingang in die Technik gefunden haben, ist den neuen Farbstoffen ihre gute Löslichkeit nachzurühmen.
Beispiel : 19'9 Teile Pikramins l1re werden wie üblich diazotiert und bei 100 mit einer sodaalkalischen Lösung von 15@@ Teilen 4-Acetylaminophenol vereinigt. Nach beendeter Kombination wärmt mau auf 600 an und filtriert den Farbstoff ab. Er bildet getrocknet ein schwarzes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit brauner Farbe lost. Mit Hilfo \on Chrombeize wird Wolle olive gefärbt.

It is known from German Patent Nos. 146265 and 147530 that 4-acidylaminophenol and its substitution products with a free 2-position can be combined with diazo compounds. Combinations with diazonaphthalene sulfonic acids are described there, the post-chromed colorations of which are gray.
As has now been found, the combination of 4-acidylaminophenol and its substitution products with diazotized picramic acid gives rise to valuable mordant dyes, the colorations of which are distinguished by excellent fastness to washing, fulling, potting and light and in this respect considerably exceed the abovementioned dyes. The nuances of the chrome lacquers are usually olive, in some cases brown. Before the dyes of German patent specification No. 252915 made from picric acid and 4-acidylamino-1-naphthols, which have not found their way into technology because of their inadequate solubility, the good solubility of the new dyes is to be praised.
Example: 19.9 parts of picramins are diazotized as usual and combined at 100 with a soda-alkaline solution of 15 parts of 4-acetylaminophenol. After the combination is complete, warm up to 600 and filter off the dye. When dried, it forms a black powder that dissolves in water with a brown color. With Hilfo \ on Chrombeize wool is dyed olive.
