Basmaschtne with a fan for sucking in and compressing the cargo.
The invention relates to a gas engine, and in particular a two-stroke engine, with a fan for sucking in and compressing the load and consists in that the fan housing is equipped with a movable cover which in the usual position is pressed onto its seat by springs and in the event of a sudden Increasing pressure is lifted.
The drawing shows, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Figure 1 is an end view of the machine and Figure 2 is a side view, partly in section, Figure 3 illustrates the fan.
10 are the cylinders of the machine. They are connected to the crankcase 11.
The shaft 12 is driven directly through the machine. The blades 15 of the fan, which is used to suck in, mix and blow in the fuel and air, sit loosely in the housing 16.
The fan presses the gas through the pipe 17 into the cylinders.
The housing expediently consists of two parts which are connected to one another at 19. One part carries the bearing 20 through which the sleeve 21 carrying the blades 15 passes. The sleeve 21 is driven by a gear 22 and this from the gear 23 on the shaft 24 which carries the gear 25 which is in engagement with the gear 26 on the shaft 12.
One side of the housing is divided, as along 27 in FIG. 1. The part 28 is placed on pegs 29 which have heads 30 and springs 31 under them. In the event of an explosion, the springs give way, part 28 moves outward and the gases escape. The springs then close the opening and the machine can continue working.
The gases enter the verteder chamber 32 through openings 33 and then flow evenly through the openings 34 into the fan.
