 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

It is known to make meat hooks sanitary flawless by means of clip-on distortions (Austrian Patent No. 14533). It is also known to use iron objects, e.g. B. nails, to be coated with this by immersion in a molten alloy. Aluminum alloys have also been used for this purpose. However, the production of the hooks listed above is cumbersome and, on the other hand, compared to the known facts mentioned last, it is a new application (casting) of a special alloy (aluminum-magnesium) for the meat hooks in the butcher's trade, making them particularly simple and particularly durable and against to make chemical influences resistant.

These hooks are produced by encapsulating a malleable cast iron mandrel using a magnesium-aluminum alloy in a mold. The alloy consists of 10 to 12% magnesium
