Wenn die Reliefs sehr klein sind, kann man die Einrichtung vereinfachen und sich einr einfachen Kautschukplatte n (Fig. 2) bedienen, deren Dicke ein Mehrfaches der stärksten Erhabenheiten des Modelles beträgt und welche's auf dei unteren Fläche der Pressflche angebracht wird. Je dicker die Kautschukplatte ist, desto gleichmässiger wird die erzielte Endprcsaung st'in.
