Description

    Z-shaped shaped stone.

The subject of the invention is a Z-shaped shaped block, the novelty of which is that the length of the flanges and the height of the shaped block are equal to the length of a normal brick and both the width of the flanges and the width of the web are equal to the width of a normal brick the purpose of being able to lay the shaped stone in association with normal bricks.

Walls made from normal bricks and shaped stones according to the invention show a significantly greater strength than walls made from normal bricks alone; by eliminating some of the mortar joints when using stones according to the invention, a saving in mortar is achieved compared with the ordinary brick wall.

In the drawing, the molded stone according to the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a diagrammatic view of the molded stone according to the invention, the dotted lines mean the strength of the mortar joint and FIGS. 2 and 3 diagrammatic representations of walls made of molded stones according to of the invention are made in connection with normal bricks.

The new shaped stones connect four other bricks in the masonry on which they lie, as can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3. The stability of the walls is increased as a result.
