Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hohlsteinwand, wie'sie namentlich als Zwischenwand zwischen stärkeren Tragmauern verwendet werden soll. Gemäss der Erfindung werden zu den einzelnen Scharen zwei Arten von Hohlsteinen verwendet, welche beide gleichen Querschnitt besitzen, deren lotrechte Längsschnitte aber trapezförmig gestaltet und derart aneinander gereiht sind, dass zwischen den Hohlsteinen schräge Stossflächen entstehen. der einzelnen Steine gegen die Seitenmauern erzielt wird. Dadurch wird die Tragfähigkeit der Wand erhöht, wobei gleichzeitig der Bodendruck der Wand vermindert wird.
Ein weiterer Vorteil der Hohlsteinwand besteht auch darin, dass durch den schrägen Verlauf der Stossfugen ein gleichmässiges Verteilen des Mörtels an den Stossfläehen der Steine und dadurch ein sparsamer Mörtelverbraueh ermöglicht wird.
Auf der Zeichnung ist eine Hohlsteinwand gemäss der Erfindung in beispielsweiser Ausführungs- form im Schaubild dargestellt.
Wie ersichtlich besteht die Hohlsteinwand aus zwei Gruppen von Hohlsteinen A, B, welche beide denselben Querschnitt besitzen. Die schrägen Stossflächen 1 der Steine A verlaufen derart, dass sie mit der unteren Fläche des Steines einen spitzen Winkel einschliessen ; sie bieten daher dem Mörtel eine gute Stütze ; die Steine der Gruppe B liegen mit ihren entgegengesetzt geneigten Stossflächen 2 satt an den Flächen 1 an.
