  Scheinwerfer.

  Headlights.

To achieve greater lighting effects, it is advisable to use several smaller headlights instead of one large headlight. These must always be aimed at the same point, which means that special drive devices are required through which all the individual headlights are moved simultaneously and evenly.

Such complicated controls are superfluous if you arrange the headlights in a common housing according to the invention.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, b1 and b2 are two independent arc lamps with the associated concave mirrors and 89 ′. It is clear that both headlights or axes are shifted evenly and in parallel with any adjustment of the common housing.

In order to set the optical axes exactly parallel or to be able to align them again in the event of any inclined burn-off of the coals, it is advantageous to set up mirrors or lamps so that they can be adjusted against each other so that the light bundles can be adjusted to the same point again.

In order to prevent the light from one lamp escaping from the side directly or via the mirror of the other Lanpe, a light-
