Process for the production of highly concentrated, durable, non-drying
Indigenous white preparations.

The surprising observation was made that indigo white preparations or indigo white pastes can be made durable by adding a concentrated solution of calcium chloride or other inorganic hygroscopic salts. Pastes composed in this way do not dry out and the indigo white is protected from oxidation. Substances which have proven to be beneficial for permanent vat management with indigo white preparations can also be added to the pastes. We cite as such additives dig mentioned in Patent Nos. 25921, 35121 and 52024, such as. B. zinc dust, etc
 EMI1.1

   Example III.

2000 parts of a solution of Indian white potassium containing 400 parts of indig white and 150 parts of potassium hydroxide are mixed with 270 parts of potassium bicarbonate, dissolved in 750 parts of water, and the resulting mixture of precipitated indigenous white and potash solution is evaporated in a Vnktinm. After about 1800 parts of water have been distilled off, a paste of indig white in concentrated potash eye with 32.8 indigotine content is obtained. By squeezing the potash eye lighter or stronger, maS can easily obtain pastes of 40% or 50% and also higher content.
