Es ist bekannt, in die Dampfauspuftröhren von Lokomotivmaschinen Rückschlagventile anzuordnen, welche den Zweck haben, den Eintritt der Luft. heisser Schornsteingase und der Lösche in den Zylinder zu verhindern sowie bei leichter Belastung den namentlich bei Mehrzylindermaschinen sich ergebenden negativen Teil des Dampfdiagrammes zu vermeiden. Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf die konstruktive Ausgestaltung dieses Ruckschlagorganea und bezweckt, dem austretenden Dampfstrahle eine möglichst grosse Umfangsfläche zu geben, um dessen Saugwirkung auf das ihn umgebende Medium erheblich zu vergrössern.
In der Zeichnung zeigt Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 einen Grundriss des Rückschlagorganes. Es besteht aus einer in das Dampfauspuffrohr a eingesetzten mehrseitigen Hohlpyramide b, deren Seitenflächen mit Durchtrittsöfnungen c versehen sind, die von Blattfedern d für gewöhnlich geschlossen gehalten werden. Während des Auspuffes werden diese Blattfedern d von den Rändern der Durchtrittsöffnungen abgehoben, sie sperren aber unmittelbar nach dem Auspuff diese Durchtrittsöffnungen wieder ab. Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, wird der austretende Dampfstrahl e sternförmig sein, also mit erheblich vergrösserter Oberfläche seine Saugwirkung auf das ihn umgebende Medium ausüben, wodurch ein besserer Wirkungsgrad erzielt wird.

The object of the invention relates to the structural design of this non-return organea and aims to give the emerging steam jet the largest possible circumferential surface in order to considerably increase its suction effect on the medium surrounding it.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the non-return element. It consists of a multi-sided hollow pyramid b inserted into the steam exhaust pipe a, the side surfaces of which are provided with passage openings c which are usually kept closed by leaf springs d. During the exhaust, these leaf springs d are lifted from the edges of the passage openings, but they block these passage openings again immediately after the exhaust. As can be seen from the drawing, the exiting steam jet e will be star-shaped, that is to say exert its suction effect on the medium surrounding it with a considerably enlarged surface, whereby a better degree of efficiency is achieved.
