   Die'Erfindung betrifft einen Brenner mit Siebkopf zum Trocknen von Hohlgussformen vermittelst Gichtgas und bezweckt, das Trocknen möglichst wirtschaftlich zu gestalten, auch in den Fällen, in welchen zwischen dem Brenner bzw. den   Heizflammen   und den zu trocknenden Flächen ein grösserer Zwischenraum vorhanden ist, was besonders bei Hohlformen grösserer Dimensionen der Fall ist. Durch diesen Zwischenraum würde kalte Luft eintreten, welche den Trockenprozess verlangsamt und einen grösseren Verbrauch an Gichtgas   erfordert,. 



  Gemäss der Erfindung wird der Brenner auf einer Platte angeordnet, welche die Hohl-   gussform gegen den Eintritt kalter Aussenluft abschliesst. Hiedurch wird verhindert, dass zwischen dem Flammenkranz und der Form kalte Luft an die zu trocknenden Wände   herantritt.
