Heating burners for liquid fuels.
The present invention relates to a heating burner for liquid fuels, after previous conversion of the same into the gaseous state by the burner itself, in which plates are arranged above and below the openings of the burner tube from which the gases to be burned flow out, of which the upper is provided with holes, and consists in the fact that the lower plate also has a number of holes near the burner openings, through which the discharged heating gases suck in air, whereby the flame is extinguished and the combustion temperature is increased.
The burner according to the present invention is shown in the drawing, and FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through the burner and FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the burner. This consists of the burner tube R, to which the fuel is fed through the tube r. Inside the tube R there is a wick D made of metal mesh.
The gases exit through holes a provided at the top of the tube. A plate P is fastened above these combustion holes a by means of a screw S. This plate P has holes L on its edge, through which air is to be supplied to the flame, so that it burns without lighting. The holes should also cause the flame to burn quietly. Below the burners a, which can also be arranged in more than one row, there is a second plate p, which is also provided with holes l in the vicinity of the burner openings a. Air is also supplied to the flame through these holes 1, thereby increasing the combustion temperature considerably.
