  Es hat sich herausgestellt, dassdie Zirkulation des Wassers sein Gefrieren nicht   wesentlich beeinflusst, da die   Gefrierwirkuüg   naturgemäss an den Wänden der Zellen beginnt und nach innen fortschreitet, bis ein fester Block in der ganzen Tiefe der Kammer entstanden ist ; das sich bewegende Wasser tritt solange zwischen den vier Wänden des sich formenden Eisblockes hindurch, bis auch   dieser Durchlass zugefroren   ist. Die Druckluft tritt von unten durch das Luftzuführungsrohr J ein, das Zweigrohre 12 besitzt, die in den Boden des Behälters einmünden und die Luft in und durch die in dem Behälter enthaltene Wassermenge verteilen. 



   . Um das Eis von den    Zellenwänden abzulösen,   wird der Zufluss des Kälteerzeugungsmittels zu den Leitungen 6 und 8 abgestellt und heisser Dampf oder dgl. durch diese Rohre geleitet. Damit der Block dann von oben erfasst und herausgehoben werden kann, wird Dampf oder dgl. in das Rohr   G   eingeleitet, von dem aus rohrförmige Nippel 15 in die oberen Teile der Zellen 2 vorstehen, die Taschen oder Einschnitte in den   Eisblocken   herstellen. Wenn dies geschehen ist, werden die Nippel zusammen mit dem Rohr G, das durch einen Schlauch an eine Dampfquelle angeschlossen ist, entfernt, worauf die Blöcke   burausgehobon   werden können.
