According to the invention, instead of the trigger in handguns, a thumb-operated trigger is to be used, which is located on the rear part of the shaft just below the breech or the barrel, which is intended to be extended backwards.
The invention is based on the observation that when the weapon is used quickly, as is the rule in particular with mounted persons, the shot tears strongly to the right as a result of the trigger being pulled with the index finger. However, if the trigger is pulled by pressing the thumb, not only is it definitely prevented from freezing, but also by the fact that the trigger (or trigger) takes place in the same direction as when the weapon is hit (i.e. in the direction of fire) a faster one Readiness to fire achieved because there is no need to "lean on". All movements required to fire the bolt are directed towards the target.
The connection of the trigger with the firing or repeating mechanism can be carried out in various ways and must of course be based on the construction of the weapon.
The handle is expediently set up in such a way that its pressure surface with the

which is operated by the thumb in order to carry out all movements necessary for aiming and firing in the direction of fire and thereby prevent the weapon from tearing sideways.
