   Im Stammpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von   Polznachahmungen,   Samt, Plüsch oder dgl. beschrieben, welches darin besteht, dass zunächst Schichten von Haaren, Fasern oder Fäden aufeinandergestapelt und in einer   Flüssigkeit   zum Gefrieren gebracht werden, worauf der so entstandene Block quer zur Faserrichtung in dünne Platten zerschnitten wird, deren Abmessungen sich nach der Art des herzustellenden Erzeugnisses richten. 



   Das Kennzeichen des vorliegenden Zusatzpatentes besteht demgegenüber darin, dass die Erstarrung des die Fasermasse einschliessenden Blockes statt durch   Gefriereniasson,   in jeder beliebigen Weise herbeigeführt werden kann. Welche Mittel hiebei in Anwendung kommen, richtet sich nach der jeweiligen Eigenart der zur Bildung des betreffenden Blocks verwendeten Flüssigkeit oder Masse. 



   Wird der auf diese Weise erhaltene Block zersägt, so erhält man Platten oder Blätter mit parallelen, auf Wunsch auch unparallelen Schnittflächen, deren eine in der beschriebenen Art auf einer Unterlage oder künstlichen Haut befestigt wird. 



   Das   Zersägen   oder Zerschneiden des Blocks und damit die Bildung der Befestigungsschnittflächen kann auf beliebige Weise herbeigeführt werden. sobald der Block die erforderliche Starke erlangt bat.
