Verfahren zur Herstellung der Unter-und der Deckelteile von Behältern aus Holz od. dgl. Stoffen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Unter-und der Deckelteile von Behältern, z. B. von Federkasten, aus Holz od. dgl. Stoffen. Nach dem Verfahren werden die beiden Teile des Behälters aus einem der Struktur nach verwandten Material gewonnen, so dass ein gefälliges Aussehen des Behälters erzielt wird. Die Anzahl der Arbeitsgänge ist dabei gering.
Das Verfahren ist an Hand der Fig. 1 bis 3 der Zeichnung erläutert. Die Fig. l und la zeigen im Schaubild ein prismatisches Holzstück mit an dessen Ober-und Unterseite begonnener Auskehlung.

Das prismatische Holzstiick a (Fig. l) hat eine Länge, die ein Vielfaches der Länge der herzustellen- den Behälter ist. Die Breite des Holzstuekes entspricht der Breite der Behälter. Die Höhe des Holzstückes ist der Summe der Höhen der beiden Teile des Behälters gleich. In das HolzstÜck werden mittels Kehlmasehine od. dgl. von oben her die Hohlräume oder Fächer cl, cul des Unterteiles b und von unten her der Hohlraum e des Ober-oder Deekelteiles c über die ganze Länge des Holzstücke eingearbeitet. Im HolzstÜck verbleibt ein waagreehter Steg/. Nach Herstellung der Auskehlungen cl, cl, e wird das Holzstück in Stücke von der Länge der Behälter zerschnitten.
Sodann werden die offenen Enden der einzelnen Stücke durch Stirnwände h, h. die zweckmässig aus Langholz bestehen, und die mittels Verzinkungen oder sonstwie befestigt werden können, abgeschlossen. Hierauf wird jedes Stück längs der Mitte des steges j zerschnitten. Dadurch werden die beiden Behälterteile b, c (Fig. 2) erhalten. Die Stirnteile/t, A können auch nach dem Durchschneiden der einzelnen Stücke längs der Stegmitte in die Teile b, c eingesetzt werden.
