Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung künstlicher Blumen aus Holz und   kennzeichnet   sich dadurch, dass von runden oder kantigen   Holzblöckchen   oder Stäbchen ringsum durch Anschneiden Längsstreifen abgetrennt werden, die an einem Ende fest mit dem Holzstück verbunden bleiben, der übrigbleibende Stumpf kann als   Bliltenkelch   und gleichzeitig zur Befestigung der Blume an einem Träger dienen. 



   Fig. 1 zeigt in Ansicht, Fig. 2 im Schnitt eine derartige Blume, Fig. 3 ein angeschnittenes Holzstück.   a   ist ein   Holzblöckchen,   b sind die abgespalteten Längsstreifen oder Blätter. 



   Soll eine ganz gefüllte Blume hergestellt werden, so wird das Holzblöckchen vollständig gespalten, sollen Blumen mit nur ein oder zwei Reihen   Blütenblätter   hergestellt werden, so entfernt man den in der Mitte stehenden Holzrest, man kann aber auch die abgeschnittenen Blätter nach der anderen Seite umbiegen. Durch entsprechendes Anschneiden kann den Blättern auch eine andere Form als die schmale gegeben werden.
