   Das anfänglich weissliche Gerinnsel wird rasch durchsichtig und fester unter Abgabe weiterer Flüssigkeitsmengen ; in diesem Moment werden 15 kg Triphenylphosphat zugesetzt, bis zur Lösung geknetet und erstarren gelassen.

Phosphoformiate aus ihrer Lösung in Ameisensäure durch aliphatische Alkohole oder deren Ester oder durch Gemische solcher Körper mit Kohlenwasserstoffen ausgefällt werden und diese Niederschläge nach teilweiser oder gänzlicher Entfernung der eingeschlossenen Säure in der für Zelluloid üblichen Weise mit Kampfer oder Kampforersatzmitteln zu festen elastischen Körpern verarbeitet werden.
