versehentlich direkt in die Öffnung e gesteckt werden könnte, ohne zuerst durch den Schlitz d hindurchzugehen, in welchem Falle der Umschlag nicht verschlossen wäre. Ausserdem liegt das Ende der Zunge geschützt in der Öffnung e und kann durch äussere Einwirkungen nicht beschädigt werden.
Eine kleine Zunge g ist ferner aus der Zunge c ausgeschnitten, und zwar derart, dass ihr freies Ende sich nahe an dem Hauptteil befindet. Die Zunge g erleichtert das Öffnen und Schliessen des Umschlages.
Für den Fall, dass der Umschlag in der Hand getragen werden soll, ist es ausserdem vorteil- haft, ein Band A mit dem Kartonstück 3 aus einem Stück herzustellen, welches schleifenförmig gefaltet wird. Diese Schleife geht durch einen Schlitz 4 im oberen Rand des Umschlages nach aussen ; das dem Teil 3 gegenüberliegende Stück des Bandes ist verbreitert und an der Innenseite des Umschlages angeklebt. Mittels dieser Schleife kann man den Umschlag bequem am Finger tragen.
Bei den für den Postverkehr bestimmten Umschlägen im allgemeinen wird diese Schleife nicht angebracht.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verschluss für Umschläge mit Zunge, welche auf dem unteren Teil des Umschlages befestigt ist und in Öffnungen der Klappe sowie des unteren Teiles des Umschlages eingeschoben wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (e) der Klappe über derjenigen (d) des unteren Teiles des Umschlages liegt und die Zunge (c) des Verschlusses unterhalb der Öffnung (d) des unteren Teiles des Umschlages festgemacht ist, derart, dass diese Zunge, indem sie über den äusseren
Steg (f) der beweglichen Klappe wegläuft, in einer einzigen Verrichtung in die Öffnungen (e, d) der beiden Teile eingeschoben werden kann.
