Abstract

Es wird ein komprimiertes flächiges Dichtungsmaterial mit einer Kombination aus einem hohen Elastomergehalt und einem hohen Quellmediumgehalt bereitgestellt. Bei einem Aspekt kann das Quellmedium Bentonit-Ton enthalten und in einem Gewichtsprozentsatz in einem Bereich von 30 bis 60% vorliegen. Bei einem weiteren Aspekt verleiht ein Kautschukanteil-Gewichtsprozentsatz, der in einem Bereich von 20 bis 30% liegt, eine verhältnismäßig hohe Kompressibilität. Das komprimierte flächige Dichtungsmaterial kann ferner eine oder mehrere verschiedene Fasern aufweisen, die üblicherweise bei Zubereitungen für Hochdruckplattenverwendet werden.
