Diese Einspritzung dient nicht nur dazu, diese Gase bis zu einem praktischen Benutzungsgrade abzukühlen, sondern auch dazu, die in die Kraftmaschine eingefiihrte Menge zu vergrössern. Es ist dies von sehr hoher Wichtigkeit bei Torpedos, wo der Raum beschränkt ist. 



   Anstatt diese Flüssigkeit aus dem Behälter n direkt in die Verbrennungsgase einzuführen, kann sie zuerst durch   eino Spirale geleitet   werden (Fig. 6). Diese Spirale wird passend in einem erweiterten Teil t der von der Verbrennungskammer nach der Kraftmaschine führenden Rohrleitung angeordnet. Das Wasser wird beim Durchgang durch diese Spirale erhitzt und   dadurch     heiss   oder   dampfförmig   in die Verbrennungskammer t eingespritzt. 



   Das Einführen des Wassers oder dgl. kann selbstverständlich vermittelst eines in den Weg des Hauptluftstromes eingeschalteten Widerstandes befördert werden, wie es beim   Einführen   des Brennstoffes'beschrieben ist. 



   Es ist ersichtlich, dass es viele äquivalente Weisen gibt, um die kinetische Energie des nach der Kraftmaschine strömenden Stromes zum Einführen des flüssigen Brennstoffes, des Wassers   oder dgl, in dh'Luft oder   die Verbrennungsgase unmittelbar zu benutzen. PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :

 connected so that the water or the like. Is injected into the combustion gases. This injection serves not only to cool these gases to a practical level of use, but also to increase the amount introduced into the engine. It is of very great importance in torpedoes where space is limited.



   Instead of introducing this liquid from the container directly into the combustion gases, it can first be passed through a spiral (Fig. 6). This spiral is suitably arranged in an enlarged part t of the pipeline leading from the combustion chamber to the engine. The water is heated as it passes through this spiral and is thus injected into the combustion chamber t in hot or vapor form.



   The introduction of the water or the like can of course be promoted by means of a resistor connected in the path of the main air flow, as is described for the introduction of the fuel.



   It can be seen that there are many equivalent ways of using the kinetic energy of the stream flowing after the engine to introduce the liquid fuel, water or the like directly into air or the combustion gases. PATENT CLAIMS:
