  Verfahren zum Brennen von ohne Bindemittel hergestellten Erzbriketts. 



   Für die Brikettierung von feinen Eisenerzen hat sich bisher die Herstellung von Briketts ohne Bindemittel und   nachheriges Brennen dieser Briketts um   vorteilhaftesten erwiesen, weil einerseits auf diesem Wege heute allen Anforderungen für die spätere Verhüttung entsprechende Briketts hergestellt werden, andererseits keine den Eisengehalt   herunterdrückende   oder die nachherige Verhüttung erschwerende Bindemittel zugesetzt werden.   Immerhin hat   diese Art der Brikettierung sich bis jetzt nur für sehr reiche Konzentrate   eingeführt, weil   die Kosten derselben noch zu hoch   scrod.   



   Vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt nun, die Kosten der   Brikettierung von Feiner n,   insbesondere Eisenerzen,   herunterzudrücken,   und kennzeichnet sich dieselbe im wesentlichen wie folgt :
Das zu brikettierende Feinerz wird in bekannter Weise ohne Anwendung eines Bindemittels auf geeigneten Pressen in Briketts geformt, die dann in einen Kanal eingesetzt werden, in welchem sie bis zur notwendigen Sinterung gebrannt werden.

   Die zur Sinterung notwendige Wärme wird gemäss der Erfindung auf folgende Weise erreicht :

 ein entsprechender Raum verbleibt, welcher mit Koksgrus oder einem anderen verwendbaren   billigen Brennmaterial angefüllt wird.   An dem einen Ende des Kanals wird dann   nach beendoter Beschickung   des Kanals eine geringe Menge glühender Kohle aufgegeben und danach Luft unter entsprechendem Druck durch diese glühende Kohle in den mit Briketts und Brennmaterial   gefiillten   Kanal   ongcblasen. Durch Regulierung des Druckt's   der Gebläseluft hat man es in der Hand. die Sinterung schneller oder langsamer verlaufen zu lassen.
