Bindemitteln, ferner Entgasen bzw.
Process for the utilization of the in the extraction of hard coal
resulting fine coal The fine coal resulting from the extraction of hard coal
usually contains a relatively large proportion of mountainous components,
So it has a high ash content and is therefore inferior to pure fine coal.
The known methods of using pure fine coal, such as briquetting in on
Smoldering heated molds or briquetting with the addition of bituminous
Binding agents, furthermore degassing or coking in coke ovens or use in pulverized coal furnaces
after appropriate fine grinding, are proportionate because of the required for this
high costs only economical with high-quality fine coal. In the absence of an economic
This inferior fine coal can often be recycled as waste material
Left completely recycled or at most as bulk material for road construction or the like.
Like. Used. Since the accumulation of this fine coal is very large in places, go
the economy continuously lost very important values as a result.
The invention now relates to the utilization of this in the
Extraction of the low-quality fine coal accruing from hard coal for heat recovery
and consists in the fact that this fine coal as it is, 'that is, in the' accruing
Grain sizes from 0 to about 3 mm, without prior grinding and without any other preliminary treatment
only after previous moistening pressed into briquettes and then in his
ordinary grate or traveling grate is burned. Moistening the fuel
takes place in the bunker before being fed into the briquette press. The surprising thing here
is that the compacts produced in this way are not only sufficiently durable until they are on
the grates of the furnace, but also their shape up to complete combustion
maintained so that the combustion air even without the use of special aids
Is well admitted and there is no brisk and complete combustion.
Zustande in besonderen
It is already known to use water as a binder for coal.
For example, the coking chambers are intended for coking in lying coking chambers
Fine coal with the addition of water by pounding in a pounding cask to a stable one
Coal cake compacted, which retracted into the furnace chamber on its base
without disintegrating. The addition of water also enables
Another process, in which the coking of the fine coal in tamped
Conditions in special
Containers made stable in the fuel
Establish channels for the introduction of the heating gases and the discharge of the distillation gases.
However, there is no danger of the compressed fuel mass disintegrating here,
because the fuel is at rest during coking and also in the containers
which prevent disintegration even after the water content has evaporated.
bildet. It is iveitz: rhin known that compacts are produced in a similar manner
from a waste material from coal processing, namely fine coal sludge, after
Withdrawal of excess moisture can be made during the subsequent
Burning in a grate furnace does not disintegrate. The durability of these compacts
but is based on the fact that the clayey components of the fine coal sludge as a result
long exposure to moisture have formed a colloidal solution,
which after evaporation of the water a firm and incombustible connection between
forms the fine coal particles that cause the compacts to disintegrate when they are burned
prevented. In another known method, this connection is thereby
produced that the clear carbon to be briquetted in heated molds is a fine one
Sludge from the powdered raw material of the same or similar origin or from Posidonia
or another bitumen slate is added, which when pressed into the smallest
Gaps between the coal penetrates and the supporting body holding it together when it burns
forms.
The moistening of the fine coal within the meaning of the invention is with these
not to compare known processes. Not to mention the well-known
Process in contrast to the invention costly drying or. Require mixing plants,
as far as they are concerned with the production of compacts and subsequent burning
concern in a grate furnace, are not for moistening within the meaning of the invention
Preparatory work on the fuel required. Moistening doesn't take longer
Time before the fuel is injected, but it can be done immediately beforehand,
without any difficulties in the subsequent incineration. As in so
A colloidal solution does not form in a short time from any clayey constituents that may be present
can, so here the combustion takes place without prior formation of such a support body
in front of you. The invention, the possibility, is based on this significant finding
offers, resulting fine coal regardless of grain size and composition and
without the addition of expensive bituminous binders after simple moistening to form compacts
to press, which burn just as vigorously on ordinary grate furnaces as
Lump coal. This gives the possibility of any
To utilize fine coal in the simplest, economically favorable way.
