  Combined straw and pipe ceiling.

The subject matter of the present invention is a combination of the already known straw mats for gardening, agricultural and similar purposes with ground tube fabric attached to it, which is also already known for protective blankets, for the purpose of protection against bad weather, such as rain, snow, sunshine, etc.

The straw mats used hitherto spoil in a short time as a result of the alternating action of rainwater and sunshine; The reed, which is more resistant due to the high content of silica, also forms gutters between the individual rods, which accelerate the flow of rainwater if the fabric is in the appropriate position.

The two fabrics therefore mutually support each other in their protective effect; one could just as well speak of a reed mat with a straw mat. 1 shows a section of the reed fabric A with an underlying and bordered straw mat B. FIG. 2 shows the associated top view with the reed fabric partially removed.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the reed fabric is wrapped around the straw mat at the ends and fastened so that the latter is subject to particularly severe wear and tear at its ends, which when the mat is rolled up, during transport, etc.! are subject to increased protection.
