Flüssigkeit.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf solche Einrichtungen zur Abfuhr des Sputums, bei welchen dasselbe in eine desinfizierende Flüssigkeit gebracht und hiedurch unschädlich gemacht wird. Die bisher bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art waren mit Zughebeln, Tritt- heboln u. dgl. versehen und konnten infolge ihrer unzwecltmässigen Konstruktion den an- gestrebten Zweck nur unvollkommen erfüllen.
Nach vorliegender Erfindung wird die sichere Aufnahme und Vernichtung des Sputums dadurch erreicht, dass in einem Behälter eine Walze angeordnet ist. welche mit ihrem unteren Teile in die Desinfektionsnüssigkeit eintaucht und durch ein Uhrwerk, Gewicht o. dgl. in ständige Drehung versetzt wird.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 einen querschnitt, Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht des Behälters samt Tronnuet und Antriehswerk. Fig. 4 zeigt den Behälter mit dem ihn aufnehmenden Ständer.
Die Trommel oder Walze W dient zur Aufnahme des Sntums. Sie ist in dem Behälter oder Trog l'mit ihrer Achsn t gelagert und taucht mit ihrem unteren Teil in die im Behälter T bofindliche Desinfektionsflüssigkeit. Welche behufs Erneuerung durch den Hahn H abgelassen werden kann. An dem Behälter ist ein Gehäuse (Kasten) K angenietet oder angelötet, in welchem das Antriebswerk, im gezeichneten Falle das Ubrwerk U. angeordnet ist.
Die Wirkungsweise der Einrichtung ist ohne weiteres klar : Das auf die Walze w ge- langende Sputum wird infolge der konstanten Drehung derselben in die desinfizierende Flüssigkeit geführt und daselbst unschädlich gemacht.
Da es vorkommen kann, dass das Sputum an der Walze anhaften bleibt, ist an dem Gehäuse ein zweckmässig federnder Abstreifer G, beispielsweise aus Gummi befestigt, welcher zum sicheren Ablösen bezw. Abschaben des Sputums dient.
Die Trommel wird zweckmässig aus Emailblech hergestellt, doch kann hiezu auch jedes andere passende Material verwendet werden. Der Behälter ruht zweckmässig auf einer Glasplatte und diese wiederum auf einem Gestell von solcher Höhe, dass der Abstand vom Munde zur Walze gering ist.

Behälter zur Aufnahme und selbsttätigen Abfuhr des Sputums in eine desinfizierende Flüssigkeit, gekennzeichnet durch eine das Sputum aufnehmende Trommel oder Walze welche mit ihrem unteren Teil in die im Behälter (T) befindliche desinfizierende Flüssigkeit eintaucht und durch Uhrwerk, Gewichte u. dgl. in konstanter Drehung gehalten wird, so dass das auf die Walze gelangende Sputum sicher in die desinfizierende Flüssigkeit geführt und daselhst unsclrtdHch gemacht wird.

The present invention relates to such devices for the removal of the sputum, in which the same is brought into a disinfecting liquid and thereby rendered harmless. The previously known devices of this type were with pull levers, step heboln u. The like and could only imperfectly fulfill the intended purpose due to their undesirable construction.
According to the present invention, the safe uptake and destruction of the sputum is achieved in that a roller is arranged in a container. which is immersed with its lower part in the disinfectant liquid and is set in constant rotation by a clockwork, weight or the like.

The drum or roller W serves to accommodate the sntum. It is stored in the container or trough 1 with its axis and its lower part is immersed in the disinfectant liquid found in the container T.
