Flaschenverschlusskapsel.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Metallkapseln, welche als Verschluss für Flaschen und dergleichen dienen und durch Abreissen geöffnet werden.
Metallkapsein mit einer Zunge, deren eine Kante allmählich in den Rand der Kapsel übergeht, während die andere Kante scharf in den Rand der Kapsel einläuft, sind bekannt. Die Kante geht-siehe Fig. 1 der Zeichnung-in eine zum Kapselrande parallel verlaufende Perforierung über.
Durch diese Vorrichtung wird das Material geschwächt und die Kapsel kann nicht ohne Unterlage oder Unterkapsel benutzt werden, da die Perforierung sie undicht machen wild. Ausserdem ist es in diesem Falle notwendig, ein dickeres Material zu benutzen.
Bei der Kapsel nach vorliegender Erfindung kann ganz dünnes Aluminiumblech benutzt werden und trotzdem ist eine Undichtheit ganz ausgeschlossen. Die Kapsel wird derart eingerichtet, dass sie nach einer schrägen oder spiralförmigen Linie aufgerissen wird. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Kapsel, wie Fig. 2 der Zeichnung zeigt, mit einer Zunge a versehen ist, deren eine Kante auf bekannte Weise schräge zur untersten Kante der Kapsel gerichtet ist und allmählich in diese übergeht, während die andere Kante einen rechten oder annähernd rechten Winkel dazu bildet und in einen Einschnitt b, Ausschnitt oder dergleichen übergeht.
Die Kapsel wird der Bruchlinie nach aufgerissen, wozu eine weit geringere Krafteinwirkung erforderlich ist, als bei den bisher bekannten Kapseln mit zwei Bruchtinien ohne Perforierungen, das Öffnen kann alsdann leicht und sicher ohne Verwendung von Schlüsseln geschehen.
Bei dieser Kapsel vermeidet man einerseits eine Schwächung des Materials durch Perforierung, während andererseits keine Rücksichtnahme auf die Faserrichtung des Materials notwendig ist, woraus folgt, dass man die Wahl des Materials freier treffen kann.

The present invention relates to metal capsules which serve as a closure for bottles and the like and which are opened by being torn off.
Metal capsules with a tongue, one edge of which gradually merges into the edge of the capsule, while the other edge runs sharply into the edge of the capsule, are known. The edge merges - see FIG. 1 of the drawing - into a perforation running parallel to the edge of the capsule.
This device weakens the material and the capsule cannot be used without a base or sub-capsule, as the perforations make it leaky. In addition, in this case it is necessary to use a thicker material.
In the case of the capsule according to the present invention, very thin aluminum sheet can be used and nevertheless a leak is completely excluded. The capsule is set up in such a way that it is torn open along an oblique or spiral line. This is achieved in that the capsule, as shown in FIG. 2 of the drawing, is provided with a tongue a, one edge of which is directed obliquely in a known manner to the lowermost edge of the capsule and gradually merges into it, while the other edge has a right or approximately at right angles to it and merges into an incision b, cutout or the like.
The capsule is torn open along the break line, which requires much less force than the previously known capsules with two break lines without perforations, and opening can then be done easily and safely without the use of keys.
With this capsule, on the one hand, a weakening of the material through perforation is avoided, while, on the other hand, no consideration needs to be given to the fiber direction of the material, which means that the choice of material can be made more freely.
