Die Erfindung betrifft Metallkapseln, die als Verschluß für Flaschen u. dgl. dienen und durch Abreißen ohne Verwendung eines Schlüssels geöffnet werden.
Die Kapsel wird derart eingerichtet, daß sie nach einer einzigen schrägen oder spiralförmigen Linie aufgerissen werden kann, ohne daß diese Linie, wie bisher üblich, durch Materialschwächung vorgezeichnet wird.The invention relates to metal capsules which serve as a closure for bottles and the like and which can be opened by tearing them off without using a key.

Die Kapsel wird dann der somit angegebenen Bruchlinie nach aufgerissen, wozu eine weit geringere Krafteinwirkung erforderlich ist als bei den bisher bekannten Kapseln mit zwei Bruchlinien. Außerdem kann das öffnen der neuen Kapsel viel sicherer geschehen als bei den bisher bekannt gewordenen Kapseln mit zwei as angedeuteten Bruchrichtungen. Durch Herstellung der Kapsel auf die angegebene Weise vermeidet man eine Rücksichtnahme auf die Faserrichtung des Materials, so daß man die Wahl des Materials freier treffen kann, da ein Abreißen der Zunge ausgeschlossen erscheint.
