EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The invention relates to the known pipe inserts used in vessels for flammable liquids. These are completely or partially provided with openings which are covered with wire mesh in order to prevent an explosion of the contents of the vessel when the liquid is removed through this insert tube.
What is perceived as a drawback with these insert tubes is that they can only be used with vessels of very specific dimensions (length or diameter) when they are hot, and that if the diameter of the vessels fluctuates even within narrow limits, they are either too long so that they are not at all can be attached directly or are too short so that a complete mutation of the vessel is impossible.
The purpose of the present invention is to remedy this shortcoming. This is achieved in that the insert tube is made from two parts, the lower of which is arranged to be displaceable relative to the upper. In this way, it is possible to use one and the same type of insert tube for vessels of the most varied of diameters, which is of great importance for manufacture, since it enables extremely cheap production. The arrangement also offers the advantage that the lower, displaceable tube with the pump tube can be pressed against the bottom of the vessel, so that complete emptying of the vessel is guaranteed in any case.
The object of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example, which shows a longitudinal section through one provided with the Kinsatzrohr
Vascular part.
A solid tube is used as the insert tube, at the top and bottom
End openings are provided which are covered with wire mesh. The insert tube consists of the upper part a with the wire mesh inserts b of a suitable number and the tube section c with the wire gunsilt1, which is arranged telescopically forward to the tube a. en d. The pipe section c is closed at the bottom by a base f, which under certain circumstances also has a wire mesh insert, but so that this

can be used for vessels of various diameters.
Of course, the insert tube could also be of a different conventional design than that shown in the drawing.
