  Verfahren zur Herstellung von gekrepptem oder   gaufriertem   Papier von grosser Reiss- und Dehnfestigkeit. 



   Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung des durch das Patent Nr. 35641 geschützten Verfahrens zur Herstellung von gekrepptem oder gauffriertem Papier von grosser Reiss-und Dehnfestigkeit und bezweckt, derartiges Papier in solchen Zustand zu bringen, dass ein Beschreiben desselben mit der Feder, sowie ein Bedrucken nach irgend einem Druckverfahren anstandslos vorgenommen werden kann. 



   Dieser Zweck wird dadurch erreicht, dass das gekreppte oder gauffrierte und nach dem Verfahren nach Patent   Nr.   35641 falten fest und schwer dehnbar gemachte Papier in

Dieses Glätten oder Satinieren kann in bekannter Weise zwischen Kalandern oder Satinierwalzen durchgeführt werden, zwischen denen das nach dem Verfahren nach Patent Nr.   3fi641   hergestellte gekreppte oder gauffrierte Papier hindurchgeführt wird, wobei mittels der Walzen auf das Papier ein sehr starker Druck ausgeübt wird. 



   Durch eine derartige Behandlung wird die durch die Kreppung oder Gauffrierung erzielte Vergrösserung des Flächeninhaltes pro Flächeneinheit des Papieres nicht beseitigt, sondern nur eine starke Glättung des Papieres herbeigeführt. Infolge dieser starken Glättung wird das Papier zum Beschreiben oder Bedrucken geeignet gemacht, so dass es einen vor-

 verwendeten Papieres bildet. Durch die starke   Glättung   wird der   Kreppung   oder Gauffrierung des Papieres das Aussehen einer Maserung erteilt, so dass sich das in der angegebenen Weise behandelte Papier auch als   Einschlag-oder Luxuspapier verwenden lässt.
