   Es ist ein Verfahren bekannt, nach welchem Stoffe, wie Leder, Gewebe aller Art und dgl. mit Kork verbunden werden, um Erzeugnisse zu erhalten, die für die verschiedensten Zwecke verwendet werden können. Bei diesem Verfahren wird eine Vorbehandlung des Korkes vorgenommen, indem der iu dünne Blätter geschnittene Kork mit einer Mischung von Benzin, Terpentin oder Schwefelkohlenstoff, gewöhnlichem Glyzerin, Paragummi und Salzsäure behandelt wird, worauf die so behandelten Korkblätter auf dem Gewebe, Leder oder dgl. mit Hilfe eines Klebstoffes, der aus Petroleumäther, gewöhnlichem Kautschuk und Azeton besteht, befestigt werden. 



   Nach vorliegender Erfindung werden die   Korkblätter   einer bekannten Vorbehandlung unterworfen, durch welche alle etwa vorhandenen mineralischen Stoffe entfernt werden. Zu diesem Zwecke werden die Korkblätter in einem Bade von Benzin, Salzsäure, Terpentinöl oder Schwefelkohlenstoff und Paragummi bei einer Temperatur von etwa 65  ungefähr Stunden behandelt, sodann werden sie während 3--4 Stunden in einem aus Benzin

In this process, the cork is pretreated by treating the thinly cut cork with a mixture of gasoline, turpentine or carbon disulfide, common glycerine, para gum and hydrochloric acid, after which the cork leaves treated in this way are applied to the fabric, leather or the like With the help of an adhesive made from petroleum ether, common rubber and acetone.



   According to the present invention, the cork leaves are subjected to a known pretreatment, by means of which all mineral substances that may be present are removed. For this purpose, the cork leaves are treated in a bath of gasoline, hydrochloric acid, turpentine oil or carbon disulfide and para gum at a temperature of about 65 hours, then they are soaked in a gasoline for 3-4 hours
