AT 394 083 B The invention relates to an outer window sill consisting of a plastic profile. Exterior window sills or window sills are now predominantly made of metal and such metal exterior window sills can not only lead to cold bridges in the already poorly insulated window area due to their good heat-conducting properties, but also bring about noise and unpleasant noise especially when driving rain or the like. In addition, due to the high thermal expansion coefficient of the metal material, metal exterior window sills can only be installed in short pieces or with appropriate expansion joints. Exterior window sills made of plastic have so far not proven themselves, since these exterior window sills made of PVC or PE profiles or other extrusion profiles are at least long-term weather-resistant and light and color-fast, they can easily be damaged due to the relatively low strength values during installation and transport and often give way to fluctuating, sometimes very high temperature loads due to deformation. The invention is therefore based on the object to remedy these shortcomings and to provide an external window sill of the type described which is distinguished by its resistance, strength and above all its good insulating properties. The invention solves this problem in that the plastic profile is made from a fiber composite material is and has an acrylic or polyurethane resin coating These profiles made of fiber composite material are efficiently produced in a known manner in the pultrusion process and are characterized by their high strength values, their weather resistance and also their alkali resistance. They have excellent thermal insulation properties so that cold bridges are not to be feared, and their sound insulation properties also prevent undesirable noise pollution from driving rain or the like. The low expansion coefficients allow the problem-free manufacture and assembly of practically any length of external window sills and the appropriate coating with foils or varnishes Acrylic or polyurethane resin have the required light and color fastness. By using the fiber composite material known per se and its UV-resistant coating, an external window sill with practically optimal properties is created in a rational manner. In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in more detail, for example, using a cross section through an outside window sill according to the invention. An external window sill (1) consists of a plastic profile (2), which is made from a fiber composite material in the pultrusion process and is coated with an acrylic resin film (3) and another UV-resistant coating at least on the surface areas exposed to the free atmosphere. The special use of the fiber composite material, which is usually only valued for its strength properties, for the production of an external window sill (1) which is not in itself necessary at all, together with the corresponding coating, surprisingly results in a plastic external window sill that meets all the requirements placed on an external window sill Noise insulation, thermal insulation, thermal expansion, weather resistance, alkali resistance and light and color fastness fully satisfied PATENT CLAIM Outside window sill, consisting of a plastic profile, characterized in that the plastic profile (2) is made of a fiber composite material and has an acrylic or polyurethane resin coating (3) Hiezu 1 Sheet drawing -2-
