Ein Fenster besteht aus einem Fensterflügel und einem den Flügel aufnehmenden Fensterrahmen. Aus derartigen Profilen erstellte Rahmen bzw. Flügel haben einen k-Wert von etwa 1,5 bis 2,5 W/m2K. Es sind nun allerdings Glasscheiben bekannt, die bereits einen k-Wert von 0,4W/m2K aufweisen. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Fensterprofil aus Kunststoffmaterial zu schaffen, das einen k-Wert aufweist, der vergleichbar ist mit dem k-Wert, den derartige "superwärmegedämmte" Verglasungen aufweisen.The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a window profile made of plastic material which has a k-value that is comparable to the k-value that such "super-thermally insulated" glazings have.
Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine äußere Schale aus Hartkunststoff, insbesondere Hartintegralschaum, und einen Kern aus Isolierschaum gelöst. Der Hartschaum bzw. Hartintegralschaum übernimmt hierbei eine stabilisierende und damit tragende Funktion im Fensterprofil. Der Kern aus Isolierschaum dient der Isolierung. Vorteilhaft ist insbesondere, wenn sowohl der Hartintegralschaum als auch der Isolierschaum aus einer Stoffgruppe, beispielsweise aus Polyurethan, bestehen. Dies deshalb, weil sich dann beim Recycling des Materials keinerlei Probleme ergeben. Dies im Gegensatz zum Festerprofil gemäß dem Stand der Technik, wobei das Trägerelement, beispielsweise ein Metallprofil vollständig von PVC-Material umgeben ist.
