The invention relates to a window or balcony door component with a frame profile and at least one sealing profile arranged therein.
The facades of buildings, in particular buildings with aluminum facades and windows, are increasingly emphasized by their architectural structure and their visual impact is enhanced by architectural jewelry and color accents. In the course of the ever more colorful design of the facades, there is a requirement to adapt the color of the gaskets or sealing profiles, especially those that are in the visible area, to the building or its facade.
Colored seals are generally known. These are usually generated by color additives that are added to the sealing material during the manufacture of the sealing profiles. However, the possible color palette of the sealing profiles is limited. Also, there is not always an optical coordination of the color tones of the frame profile and the sealing profile.
Colored coatings for the sealing profiles are also known. However, these do not form an inseparable connection with the sealing profile. Due to aging, the coatings weather and peel off, so that the façades are visually impaired.
Based on the prior art, the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a window or window door component that can be produced rationally and meets high quality requirements, in which the frame profile and the sealing profiles arranged in the frame profile have the same color tone.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a window or balcony door component according to claim 1.
The frame profile and the sealing profile are then covered over the entire surface with a uniform, adherent coating. The coating is applied to the frame profiles of the window or balcony door components in the manufacturing process, specifically with already integrated sealing profiles. The frame profile and sealing profiles are therefore coated together in one production process.
During the coating process, the frame profile and sealing profile are completely covered with a coating material which can generally be in the gaseous or vaporous state, in the liquid or pasty state or in the solid state.
In this way, window or balcony door components can be created that have a uniform color throughout. Color differences between the frame profile and sealing profiles are avoided. The color scheme can be matched exactly to the outer color scheme of the facade of a building.
An advantageous embodiment of the basic concept of the invention consists in the features of claim 2. The frame profiles consist of metal, in particular aluminum. The sealing profiles can consist of different elastic materials. The material elastomer, ie vulcanized rubber, is essentially preferred. But the material plastomer, which is known colloquially, but is not an accepted nomenclature proposal by the DIN and is therefore also called thermoplastic, is also conceivable.
This also includes the thermoplastic elastomers and soft PVC types. The frame profiles are provided with the sealing profiles before they are painted. The frame profile and sealing profile are powder-coated together. The sealing profiles used have the necessary temperature resistance. The color coating forms an intimate, virtually permanent connection with the frame profile and the sealing profile.
An alternative embodiment provides claim 3. The frame profile and the sealing profile are then film-coated.
It is currently customary to extrude white frame profiles and then film them when colored profiles are required. The frame profiles can be provided with different color designs and structure characters.
According to the invention, the frame profiles are now foiled together with the inserted sealing profiles made of elastomers or thermoplastics or plastomers. Thus, even with the coating, a firmly adhering, uniform coating of the frame profile and sealing profile is achieved by filming, without visual transitions of the frame profile and sealing profile being visible.
